Gabe on the Move at Moab 240 Endurance Run

It All Started Five Years Ago…

I joined in 2014. I had done a 70.3 Ironman and was looking to improve my performance with an eye towards doing my first full Ironman. I achieved both goals with the support of the team. When my interest shifted towards ultrarunning, the EN community was a massive support.

Banding Together for Success

When I started down the path of ultrarunning, there were very few resources in the market. Among the ENers with ultra experience, we banded together to support and help each other to maximize our training. Moab 240 felt like a breakthrough race. I’ve mostly been in the middle of the pack, sometimes the front of the middle, in ultras. Yet I came in 28th overall at Moab to my surprise! Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Positivity Makes a Difference

The positivity within the EN community really stands out. When you look at other online forums that are full of negativity, having a community that supports your goals and challenges you to improve is remarkable.
