This week Coach Patrick talks about one of our important “lessons learned” from running with power thanks to our partners at Stryd.

Running with power isn’t just about getting stronger — it’s about becoming more efficient. And thanks to Stryd, we can now track and target our Leg Spring Stiffness (LSS) as a measure of running efficiency.

While LSS typically improves across a season as you build your running fitness, you can fast track it’s an improvement with non-running specific activities. Strength training, drills, and plyometrics are an option, and Endurance Nation has chosen to use plyometrics as the tool for our members.
