Looking forward to Syracuse 70.3® after starting with EN in November 2013. This will be my sixth season in the sport and third HIM. My main focus is to start my racing season on a high note as I am building toward my first IM later this year.

Having made many race-prep and race-day mistakes, I am really focused on putting the EN teachings to the test from start to finish but my main goal is to run well off the bike, which I’ve struggled to do in warm, humid races before.

It’s been great training through the OutSeason® and learning how to dial it in through the forums and vast knowledge of the EN universe. Now its time to get it on!

I live at the Jersey Shore and picked up triathlon four years ago. I love swimming in the Manasquan or Navesink Rivers and the ocean. In 2011 at a swim clinic, I suffered a stroke. Luckily, some terrific club members took great care of me, and got me to a hospital right away. I completed a sprint tri by the end of the season. Last year, I completed my first 70.3® then joined EN to get educated and hope one day to be wicked smart.

I am looking forward to testing my fitness and my ability to execute the EN way in this race. I hope to have a solid swim, a steady bike, and plenty of energy left in the legs for the run. I have a hamstring injury so will be walking the hills but I look forward to finishing strong. I look forward to meeting teammates and having a great race.
