Meet the members of Team Endurance Nation taking on 2014 Ironman® 70.3® Kansas this weekend. Leave them a comment to cheer them on!
I’m from Searcy, AR and a Certified/Licensed Athletic Trainer dealing with care and prevention of sports medicine injuries. This is my 2nd year in the sport of triathlon. I’ve competed in 6 sprints and 1 Olympic distance races. I usually compete in half and full marathons when my work schedule allows me to spend time to train. Looking forward to this race and competing in more 70.3’s before I tackle a full Ironman. I’m hoping to have a good swim as this is not my best discipline. The bike and the run will take care of itself.
I’m from the Kansas City area and have been doing tris since 1992. My first 70.3® was in 2007 and my first IM was in 2008. I’ve since finished 4 IM’s and many 70.3’s. With age I need to shake up my training and improve my finish times this year. IM PR was at CDA in 2011 and I would like to come close to that finish time as I tackle Wisconsin this year for the third time.
