Second Annual East Coast Cycling Camp, Jefferson NC

May 8 – 12, 2013

Come join Coach Patrick and a handful of Endurance Nation veterans for four days of amazing cycling. This is a great way to add “far” to your “fast,” and will be a great boost to your fitness from the winter. This is an accessible and challenging East Coast option for athletes training for Rev3 Quassy, IM Couer d’Alene, IM Lake Placid, IM Tremblant, IM Whistler or Challenge Penticton. Register before 4/19/13!

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2013:

Single Location — We found the perfect place, nestled between more open roads and epic climbs than you’d think possible.

Excellent Lodging — We went all in and locked down some amazing mountain lodging. You’ll relax in comfort and local style in either cabin.

Multiple Routes — The biggest reason for a single basecamp is that you can choose your own ride distance and level of difficulty. There will be suggested itinerary, but you are free to break off and sample different types of terrain based on your season goals, bike fitness and ability to tolerate suffering.

  • Mount Mitchell Ride: 103 miles, 10,400 feet of gain. Highest point on the Eastern Seaboard. Map & Details
  • Blue Ridge Brutal Ride: Anywhere from 57 to 100 miles of serious riding! 57 miler; 66 miler, 100 miler.

LOGISTICS:

Basecamp is approximately 2 hours from Charlotte Airport in North Carolina; we recommend you plan on arriving by 3pm at the latest on the 8th.

SLOTS: Only 4 Slots Left!

We have a few veterans returning from years past, leaving only a few spots for everyone else. This is still a “young” camp so we want to grow it right…no over-crowding!

PRICE: $599 Public, $499 Team EN; doors close April 19th, 2013

This camp is open to the public as well as the Team, as a member of TeamEN you save…and the sooner you sign up the more you save. Your camp fee includes lodging, food, and ride support…the only thing missing is a spare pair of legs for days 3 and 4!!!!

Visit the official camps page on the Endurance Nation website over here for ride profiles, elevation stats and much more!

From there you can register directly on Active.com (here) — Remember there are only 4 spots left as of April 2nd!

But there are certain skills you need to learn before cycling in a group becomes
natural and enjoyable. This might not feel normal at first, but it will help you
focus on the muscles you want to work out. Doing exercises and sweating it off is the essential to dropping bodyweight.
