Why Should I Use A Training Plan?
This same coaching world tells you that a generic training plan is an inferior solution. As former, high-dollar, one-on-one coaches,
we'd like to share a couple things with you. First, the person trying to sell you on the $300/mo coaching solution is
the guy offering the $300/mo coaching solution. Think about that. Second, after coaching hundreds
of athletes of every flavor you can possibly imagine, we can tell you that there are
95% solutions that work for 95% of the people 95% of the time.
Coaching as you know it is largely about managing or customizing the details within the margins of that solution. Regardless of which option you choose, the product delivered to you is a training plan. Whether written by a $$$ coach "just for you," or photocopied out of a magazine,
it's still a training plan. What matters is the effectiveness of that plan and the support surrounding it.
Proven Effectiveness
Our training plans are in their sixth generation, the end-product of coaching hundreds of individual triathletes. The plans have been revised, six times, in response to the results and feedback of the thousands who have used them. Review the results and testimonials of our athletes. ALL of these athletes, from 13hr finishers to Kona qualifiers used the same 3-4 training plans. None of these athletes have paid Endurance Nation more than about $800 for an entire season of coaching. Make no mistake: we are very, very good long course triathlon coaches. We have simple evolved away from expensive one-on-one coaching and towards creating efficient training and support tools.
