Triple Threat Tom -

Thanks for the comment. I think there is an intersection of fitness and bike fit that yields maximum results regarding speed. Whether your clients are new or advanced, _everyone_ can benefit from a bike fit. I personally attend 8-10 Ironman events a year, and the number of people unable to ride in the aeroposition for the full 112 -- what most would consider the minimum biking requirement regardless of ability level / race goals -- is absolutely stunning. As a personal example, for the same bike fitness I was 24 minutes faster in Kona in a much tougher year, and I attribute that 95% of that to a better fit.

If you are interested in guidance on how to improve your client's training, please refer to any one of our 5 other free resource guides in the sidebar or on the Free Resources page. Thanks!

Im interested in helping my clients in positioning themselves in a more areo position. As a first year coach and a triathlete of 18 years its importand to me to help each cleint seperately to achieve thier goal. My most recent bike fit, at age 55, positioned put me in the traditional bike position ( up higher in the front and more of a 74 degree seat) Since most of my current clients are doing long distance, I have been suggesting this position. My clients are not hard core athletes but more of novice Triathlete who whats to finish a Ironman. I understand the concept that the bike is the vehicle but the engine is the human so lets immprove the human.
thanks
